I was super iffy about this place at first, but I’m so glad I didn’t judge a book by its cover and gave it a shot. I ordered three items: a fried pork chop, a burger, and wings with fries. The fried pork chop was easily one of the best I’ve had—crispy, well-seasoned, and moist on the inside. Absolute perfection. The burger was phenomenal; I only added grilled onions, but that alone took it to another level. It was juicy, flavorful, and just hit the spot. The wings were decent—not the best I’ve ever had, but still solid, and they gave a generous portion of fries. The best part? I got all three items for under 25, which is a steal for the quality. Overall, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I’m happy I did!

Big Apple Deli is awesome. We went here for lunch one day since it’s close to our office. The seating area inside is large enough to handle the busy hours. They’ve a wide selection ranging from cold cut sandwiches to cheese burgers, cheese steaks and pita breads. They’ve desserts such as brownies, banana pudding and cheesecakes, and drinks as well. We got the crispy chicken pita and the veggie pita along with a soda and a side of cheese fries(without the beef). The crispy chicken was quite delicious, and just the right amount of juicy. We appreciated how well-cooked it was. The veggie pita had a decent amount of vegetables in it as well. The fries definitely checked the box for guilty pleasure. We loved how fresh it all tasted. As a newbie to Charlotte, I love finding spots like these that seem underrated and still pack a punch when it comes to food and service. The service was quite prompt and polite. There’s a lot of parking available outside, and the pick-up counter for food is in the back. I’ll be back here soon.

The food is off the charts AMAZING! I have ordered almost every item that doesn’t include pork, and I have thoroughly enjoyed everything! You can taste the love. The staff is like family. Friendly, courteous, and more than accommodating. The entire menu is packed with great dishes. You cannot go wrong with this establishment!

First time trying it and the food was hot, fresh and good. I ordered the seafood combo with flounder, shrimp and chicken tenders, french fries and a side salad. The service was Friendly and efficient. Will definitely be going back

Big Apple Deli is probably one of the best surprises in all of Charlotte. The best food for the money in town. We ordered the Cheese Steak, fries and okra. Be sure to tell them you want the fries extra crispy. The food was amazing, and the service was quick. All good items were cooked to order. This place is a “must eat” in Charlotte.

My first time eating here in September 16, 2024! I got the flounder fish, jumbo fried shrimp, French fries, hush puppies, and coleslaw . My best friend got the kid's plate with shrimp French fries and a delicious hotdog. I don’t have a picture of the hotdog. Btw, as you can see the kids plate is enough for adult lunch. . This place definitely has my business.

Apparently I rated this place with 4 stars 5 years ago, but I do not remember ever eating here. To my knowledge, I tried it for the first time on 04/06/2024. I ordered online. I wasn’t sure what I wanted until I browsed the menu and decided upon seafood. I thought, how bad could it be it’s just fried fish and shrimp....I have been thinking about this place ever since..lol I got the two option combo with 2 pieces of flounder and baby shrimp fried crispy. Comes with two sides. I got fries and hush puppies. The hush puppies are extra 25 cents. The fish was fried to perfection and not overly seasoned. The shrimp were delightful!! I enjoyed all of the food. I even returned three days later for the same meal. My new go to spot for fish and shrimp dinners!
